A Unique Partnership

Ichor Research has partnered with Loretto, a nonprofit organization and the 4th largest health care system in Central New York. Our collaboration is bridging the gap between clinical research and long-term care, transforming how we approach clinical research.

Protocol Adaptation

Ichor Research helps Sponsors adapt their protocols to ensure they can be executed in long-term care. We use our model and direct feedback from facility-based staff as a guide.

Integrated Execution

Ichor Research collaborates with Loretto to identify qualified research candidates, with custom IRB-approved HIPAA waiver and prescreening processes for effective recruitment. Ichor's team can dispatch to any long-term care unit, bringing labs, providers, IP, ratings, and more directly to those who are residents.

Inclusion Initiatives

Our model is critical to expanding access to underserved populations, with more than 70% of those served by Loretto being Medicaid eligible, and offering enrollment opporunities to Loretto staff, 65% of whom are single, women of color, and head of holseholds living in highly impoverished neighborhoods.
